The First

The first.

And yet, the last at the very same time.

Have you ever found it odd, that it may be the beginning of one thing, but the end for another? Like tonight, it was supposed to be the first dance of the year at school. But, at the exact same time, it was to be the last first dance for me. How ironic.

Then theres the first day of school. Though, that very day, is the end of something else.

Everything always begins for one person, but to another, its the ending of some deep down emotion. We just don't know it. Right now, while this is my first blog entry on here, it could be someone else's last blog entry. But how would we know this? It's not like there a flashing billboard displaying these messages. We don't know. Thats the thing. We never will know. In a way, to me anyways, thats sort of nerving. Yet, at the exact same time, it's also sort of exciting. There's still that big mystery in life that we don't know. And I guess in a way, thats the exciting part. We don't know everything, and in order to try to understand it, we have to travel down that long treacherous path to get there. Along the way, we meet others who could help, or obstruct our goal. There's mild adventures, and obvious heartbreak.

But, that's life isn't?
